Version: 1.0 - Adopted: May 2026 - Review date: May 2027

These terms govern all purchases and sponsorships made through the Medaria Aid online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions before purchasing, please contact us.

1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern all purchases and sponsorships made through the Medaria Aid online store at www.medariaaid.com. By placing an order or making a sponsorship purchase, you agree to these terms.

Medaria Aid is a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity No. 1204225). Our registered address is available on the Charity Commission public register at gov.uk/find-charity-information.

If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at medariaaid@gmail.com before placing your order.

2. Our Products: Two Types of Purchase

Our store offers two distinct types of transaction. It is important you understand the difference before purchasing.

πŸŽ–οΈ Symbolic Sponsorships

You make a charitable donation that funds the purchase and delivery of a specific type of item to Ukraine. You will not receive a physical item. Funds go directly to sourcing and delivering that item to frontline medics, field hospitals or orphanages.

πŸ“¦ Physical Goods

Items that will be dispatched directly to you. Where an item is a physical product, this will be clearly stated on the product listing, including estimated dispatch timeframes and any applicable shipping costs.

Symbolic sponsorships are charitable donations. They are not subject to the same consumer rights as commercial purchases and are not refundable except in the circumstances set out in Section 6. Where eligible, Gift Aid may be claimed - see Section 9.

If you are unsure whether an item is a symbolic sponsorship or a physical product, please contact us before purchasing.

3. Placing an Order

By completing a purchase through our store you confirm that:

We will send an order confirmation to the email address you provide. Please keep this for your records. For symbolic sponsorships, this confirmation also serves as your donation receipt.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your payment card details. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details of how your personal data is handled.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.

5. Physical Goods: Dispatch and Delivery

Where you have purchased a physical product:

6. Refunds and Returns

Physical Goods

You have the right to cancel your order for physical goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise this right, contact us at medariaaid@gmail.com within 14 days of receipt.

Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or was incorrectly sent. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with a description and photograph of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Symbolic Sponsorships

As symbolic sponsorships are charitable donations, they are not subject to the 14-day cancellation right that applies to physical goods.

Refunds on symbolic sponsorships will only be considered in the following circumstances:

Refund requests for symbolic sponsorships must be made within 30 days of the transaction and submitted to medariaaid@gmail.com with your order confirmation details. We are not able to refund symbolic sponsorship purchases where the funds have already been committed to or spent on the stated purpose.

7. Use of Funds

Medaria Aid is a registered charity. All funds received through the store, whether from physical goods sales or symbolic sponsorships, are applied to our charitable purposes: delivering medical supplies, medevac vehicles and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and supporting orphans and displaced children.

Net proceeds from physical goods sales (after cost of goods and fulfilment) are applied to our charitable purposes in the same way as sponsorship donations.

We publish information about how funds are used on our website and in our annual reports, which are available on the Charity Commission public register.

8. Availability and Changes

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any product or sponsorship offering at any time without notice. If an item you have ordered becomes unavailable after payment, we will contact you and offer either a refund or the option to redirect your funds to a similar purpose.

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate but cannot guarantee that your screen will display colours or finishes exactly as they appear in person.

9. Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, your symbolic sponsorship purchases may be eligible for Gift Aid, allowing us to claim an additional 25p for every Β£1 you donate at no extra cost to you.

To enable Gift Aid, you must confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and that you have paid sufficient Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year to cover the amount we will claim.

If your tax circumstances change and you are no longer eligible, please notify us at medariaaid@gmail.com so we can update our records.

Gift Aid does not apply to physical goods purchases.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Medaria Aid website and store, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Medaria Aid or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.

11. Our Liability

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from purchases made through our store will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you additional rights that cannot be excluded.

If you are an Australian consumer, the Australian Consumer Law under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 may also apply to your purchase and provides rights that cannot be excluded by these terms.

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint about a purchase, please refer to our Complaints Policy or contact us directly at medariaaid@gmail.com. We will do our best to resolve any issue promptly and fairly.

14. Changes to These Terms
